If you’re going to clean your chimney yourself it’s always good to at least have your chimney inspected for a small fee. If the creosote build-up is glazed it’s nearly impossible to remove without specialized rotary equipment. The glazed creosote can easily cause a chimney fire.

Thank you for your comment..you are right…mold is a very serious subject! If you are not able to clean it yourself or suspect that it is not gone, contact a professional. This is especially important if you are pregnant or suffering from any form of respiratory diseases…is these specific cases, you should not try to clean mold yourself…you should call a professional right away!
